Hiding and Immunity

Hiding and immunity is an important part of the game as it helps all players with different time availability to simultaneously play in the same server. In many games such preferences would be baked into the server and players choose their available times per day at the start of the gameplay. Though in the course of the game this duration can increase or decrease, in GainHive we give players an ability to choose how frequent they want to play through avatar selection.

An energy stat of the avatar determines the hiding the avatar gains at the start of the day.

Using these values, a player can go into hiding stance where he will be ignored by the enemies for the game purposes. Their hex can still be attacked and occupied. If this happens the player will have respawned at a certain location.

However, they will not lose any progress or items when despawned this way.
